About Cynthia Weil

Cynthia Weil was an extraordinarily gifted and influential American lyricist, primarily known for her prolific collaboration with her husband, composer Barry Mann. Together, they formed one of the most successful songwriting duos of the 20th century, significantly shaping the sound of pop and rock and roll during the iconic Brill Building era and beyond.
