Originally composed in 1896 to depict a real-life, staged train crash in Texas, The Great Crush Collision March is a unique, narrative-driven work that brings immense energy to any recital. This arrangement beautifully distributes the syncopated rhythms, train whistles, and dramatic build-ups across all five instruments: Flute, Oboe, Bb Clarinet, Horn in F, and Bassoon.
