This Beatles song, from the Revolver album, was written by John Lennon after a strange conversation with Peter Fonda. Whatever its origins and meanings it is a cheerful song with a simple structure of verses and bridge sections. This arrangment, for three-part SSA choir and piano augments it with some additional sections to add a little more interest and variety to the song. The original tempo is fairly slow but a faster pace may bring more life to a performance.
This version is intermediate in difficulty; I also have available a similar but easier version which makes use of more repetition and simplified vocal harmonies.
