Not a note in this prelude is missing and all the notes are 100% Chopin's yet it's now so fun to play! Some say his preludes were preparatory material for his etudes, in which case the difficulties found in the original form of the prelude's cross-hand playing may be understandable as an educational device. However, this version has been made so much easier to play by rearranging the notes so that there is no cross-hand playing. If I ever play this piece in public, I will definitely use this easier-to-play arrangement.
