This piece, written by M. Roger Holland II, is a modification of the Communion antiphon from his Honey from the Rock collection. It was premiered at the Evensong service for the Day of Pentecost 2020 at St. Richard’s Episcopal Church in Winter Park, Florida. The antiphon in this setting of the Magnificat should be rhythmic, while the accompaniment on the verses is smoother.
