This hypnotically beautiful song was first recorded by Tears for Fears and then covered by Gary Jules in a slower, more gentle version for the film "Donnie Darko." This arrangement owes more to the slower dreamier version but takes some inspiration from the original TFF version.
It is scored for SSA choir but the soprano 1 and alto lines have occasional splits. All parts take the tune at some point.
It is worth mentioning that the ending lyric is the correct TTF one, and not one of the errant variants (such as the one by Gary Jules).
I have classed this as intermediate in difficulty.
