Go Lovely Rose
This is a lovely setting, for male voices, of the part of the poem that the composer chose to set. Unfortunately, the setting fails by not setting the final stanza of the poem, which is the climax of the lyric's meaning. "Then die, that she, The common fate of all things rare Made read in thee; How small a part of time they share, That art so wondrous sweet and fair. " Leaving that out diminishes the meaning of the verse.
