1) March from Scipio
One of Handel's most well known marches- often heard as a regimental march during the 'Trooping of the Colour’
2) Theme from Pomp and Circumstance March No. 4
The main theme from one of Elgar's famous marches. Written in 1907 it was not written for a specific occasion, but was later famously used as the recessional music for the 1981 wedding of Prince (now King) Charles and Diana
3) Old English March
This is an arrangement by Holst of the much earlier, 17th century, Prince Rupert’s March

The main theme from Elgar's most famous march (Land of Hope and Glory) Also known as the Graduation March (arising from its first use for this purpose at Harvard)
5) Soldier's March by Schumann
A favourite piano piece by Schumann for young players here arranged for instrumental ensemble.
These arrangements are suitable for school orchestras and ensembles. The arrangements allow for a great deal of flexibility in presentation and will sound complete with as few as four players yet the scoring allows for expansion up to a full symphonic orchestra, concert band or brass band
