The well loved hymn in a very easy arrangement.
2) O Little Town of Bethlehem
A popular English traditional carol. Designed to sound effective by having the melody line plus just one other note in the right hand combined with just a single note in left hand
Unlike many ‘easy’ arrangements this sets out to use and suggest more complex chords within the limitations set by the format.
3) This I Know (Jesus loves Me!)
A sensitive arrangement of the well loved children's hymn Jesus Loves Me
A gentle introduction followed by verse and chorus, with harmonies to give a more contemporary feel, is followed by an uplifting key change for the last verse.
4) Silent Night
The full chord symbols are included so that a guitar to be added if desired (a guitar was reportedly used in its first performance)
The chords may also be useful for more advanced players able to 'fill out' the arrangement.
5) Swedish Hymn (How Great Thou Art)
This Swedish hymn tune has gained worldwide popularity from its association with the well loved gospel song How Great Thou Art. This arrangement remains faithful to the original tune with just a slight contemporary approach to the harmony. As such (as with all the pieces in this collection) it will be a useful Sunday morning offering playable by the vast majority of Church pianists.
