« AMERTUME » est une composition d’environ trois minutes pour chœur mixte (SATB). Cette pièce met en musique une sélection de poèmes tirés du recueil de Guillaume Apollinaire « Le Bestiaire ou Procession d’Orphée » basé sur l’amertume, un sentiment ressenti face à une situation d’injustice ou de regret. On y entendra « La carpe », « La puce » et « L’écrevisse ».
Cette œuvre explore différents jeux rythmiques et de riches polyphonies, combinés à des techniques vocales conventionnelles, dont les glissandi et la voix parlée.
« AMERTUME » obtient un 2ème prix du jury au concours international de composition EUFONIA - BORDEAUX 2021 et constitue le premier volet d’un cycle consacré à l’œuvre d’Apollinaire. La création a été donnée à la cathédrale de Bordeaux le 10 octobre 2021.
