In 1994 werkten componist (Sir) Elton John en tekstschrijver Tim Rice voor het eerst samen voor de soundtrack van de Disney tekenfilm 'The Lion King', die in 1997 tot een succesrijke Broadway musical werd aangepast. Beide kunstenaars sloegen opnieuw de handen in elkaar en zo ging hun nieuwe musical 'Aida' van start, gebaseerd op het klassieke verhaal van de Egyptische strijder Radamès die door twee vrouwen geliefd wordt . Ton van Grevenbroek bewerkte de leukste melodieën voor harmonieorkest.

In 1994 composer (Sir) Elton John and scriptwriter Tim Rice worked together for the first time on the soundtrack for Walt Disney's cartoon 'The Lion King' which was turned into a very successful Broadway musical in 1997. Both artists joined forces again and this resulted in their new musical 'Aida', based on the classical love story of the Egyptian warrior Ramadès, loved by two women. Ton van Grevenbroek arranged the finest tunes for symphonic band.

C'est en 1994 que le compositeur (Sir) Elton John et le librettiste Tim Rice travaillent ensemble pour la première fois pour la bande sonore du dessin animé de Walt Disney 'Le Roi Lion', adapté en 1997 comme comédie musicale pour Broadway. Les deux artistes se sont une fois de plus réunis pour cette nouvelle comédie musicale 'Aida', basée sur le récit classique du guerrier égyptien Radamès qui est aimé par deux femmes. Ton van Grevenbroek a arrangé les plus beaux airs pour orchestre d'harmonie.
